We're only heading into his third season, and Victor Wembanyama is already getting the animated treatment. French network TF1 recently announced an upcoming series, 'Alien Dunk', adding to a laundry list of activities the Spurs star has been involved with this summer.

Much has been made of the many side quests Wembanyama has participated in since the offseason began. He shaved his head and meditated with monks at a Shaolin Temple. He trained with two of the greatest big men to ever play the game in Kevin Garnett and Hakeem Olajuwon. And, oh yeah -- he also hung out with Harry Potter.

Like Mr. Potter, the superstar will now be venturing into the world of fiction as a main character himself.

The alien will be hitting the small screen soon

STIM Studio, whose credits include the recent critically-acclaimed film, "The Wild Robot", has signed on to produce the series, which will star Victor as himself competing in a basketball league in space.

“The most exciting part is creating a universe for kids to enjoy, filled with fun, imagination, and inspiration for young fans all over the world,” Wembanyama told Variety. "Seeing myself animated is an incredible experience."

As a space-centric show that blends comedy with sci-fi, "Alien Dunk" will undoubtedly draw comparisons to the 1996 classic, "Space Jam", which starred Michael Jordan in a fight to save humanity from invading aliens. (We don't need to talk about Space Jam: A New Legacy).

While Wembanyama will be busy leading the Spurs to what many anticipate to be a return to the playoffs, the show will have plenty to work with thanks to his involvement. According to Variety, he's already taken part in "creative sessions with the production team that include a dedicated motion capture shoot reproduce his signature moves and posture. Good thing, too -- I'm not sure even the fanciest technology can replicate what Wemby does on the court.

While many of his offseason activities have taken him away from the hardwood, no one should be worried about the shape Wembanyama is in after having his sophomore season cut short due to Deep Vein Thrombosis. All signs point to Victor doing just fine in that department, and his competitiveness wouldn't allow for anything less.

From impromptu chess game pop-ups to sitting in a Spurs throne to judge fan passion, San Antonio's biggest treasure just added another feather in the cap of a summer he'll never forget. Soon enough, the world of Wembanyama will be expanding yet again.
