The San Antonio Spurs have a chance to send their first player to the NBA All-Star Game since the 2018-19 season. If early vote returns are any indication, Dejounte Murray will need a huge boost in votes to be a fan selection.

Dejounte Murray's stellar season continued with another near triple-double against Boston on Wednesday, leading to a bounce-back team win after losing four straight. On Friday, fans can show their appreciation for their star guard by having their votes for him to make the NBA All-Star game count double.

According to the official NBA.com press release, fans can submit one full ballot each day via vote.nba.com and the NBA App. There will be five total "2-for-1 Days", which started on Christmas Day. The next day votes will count twice is today, Friday, January 7th from 12:01 am ET to midnight ET.

Spurs fans on Twitter can also vote double for Dejounte Murray by using #NBAAllStar and either @DejounteMurray or #DejounteMurray in a tweet on Friday. As I compiled earlier this month, fans have been coming up with creative and hilarious ways to vote for Murray to make his first NBA All-Star Game.

Through 32 games played, Murray is averaging 18.0 points, 8.9 assists, and 8.4 rebounds per game and recorded 22 points, 12 assists, and nine boards against Boston.

"Special, dude loves to compete," said Derrick White postgame about Murray. "He does it all for us. I'm super happy he's back."
