2024 NBA Mock Draft 4.0: Spurs get 2 game-changers, Wizards land potential star at 1

24. Cleveland Cavaliers grab Bobi Klintman
Klintman played his freshman season at Wake Forest and was drawing first-round pick buzz in 2023 before deciding to forgo the draft to play in the NBL in Australia this season. He averaged 10.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steal in 21.6 minutes per game for Cairns. Klintman failed to blow anybody away but remains a likely first-rounder based on his upside.
Finding a 6’9 forward with his athletic ability and potential is not easy. Klintman has shown some shooting, playmaking, and defensive upside. He is years away from being a consistent contributor in the NBA, but teams will salivate over what could be. The 21-year-old may blossom into a key role player if he fails in the right situation.
Klintman made 33.7 percent of his 92 3-point attempts this season. Becoming a plus shooter would take his game to another level. The potential is there, but he needs to continue the work to make it a reality.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are loaded with talent. They could use some wing depth, but there is no standout option left on the board. It could push the Cavs into taking a shot on Bobi Klintman. The franchise has had success developing prospects, and the 6’9 forward could play a key role next to Darius Garland and Evan Mobley as the two current Cavaliers reach their primes.
