The San Antonio Spurs are back for its seventh game of the 2017-18 season. It will be against the Boston Celtics, the sixth consecutive matchup against an Eastern Conference team. The Spurs are 3-2 vs this conference.
This also marks the final matchup of a four-game road trip for San Antonio. Afterward, it’s a six-game homestand for the Silver and Black, including games against the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers.
Heading into Monday’s game, the Spurs will look to stop a two-game losing streak. They fell to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday afternoon, 97-94, watching a lead slip away after working for three quarters to grab it. A game-winning 3-pointer from Victor Oladipo sealed it.

LaMarcus Aldridge continued his red-hot play to start the season. He had 26 points and 8 rebounds, leading the team in scoring for the sixth consecutive game. The ball will continue to be in his hands, early and often, against the Celtics.
This will be San Antonio’s first look at Kyrie Irving in a Celtics jersey. He was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to Boston in the 2017 offseason for a package of players and a draft pick. While his production didn’t take off to start the season, he’s averaged 21.3 points per game.
