The San Antonio Spurs (1-3) tip off against the Oklahoma City Thunder (4-1) at 8:00 pm EST later today in San Antonio. The Spurs won their last preseason game, against Utah, and hope to keep up their winning ways. The Thunder demolished the Pistons 115-99 with a depleted roster on the road in their last game, on Tuesday night. The Spurs are favored by -2 in the matchup.

We have compiled all the things you need to know before the game starts.

The Thunder are going into this game with limited defensive help, and while the Spurs are a well-rounded defensive team with Tre Jones, Jakob Poeltl, Devin Vassell, Jeremy Sochan, and Keldon Johnson, I think the drive on both sides will be too much. Each team is full of talent trying to snag a roster spot or slot in the starting five, so everyone should be bringing their best on the offensive end of the floor. I do not think the Spurs will be able to stop an onslaught of points.

Despite the Thunder playing without Chet Holmgren and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, I think the Spurs will lose with a score of 90-102. The Thunder have been hot this preseason, and the lone Spurs victory was barely squeaked out in the fourth quarter. I suspect both Tre Jones and Jakob Poeltl will need good games to manage a win, and I just don't see both of them overperforming.
