The San Antonio Spurs walked away one of the biggest winners of the 2023 NBA Draft, adding Victor Wembanyama and Sidy Cissoko to their talented collection of young players. With their photoshoots, introductory press conferences, and obligatory fan festivities behind them, the rookies must prepare for a quick turnaround as they pack their belongings, head to the airport, and hop on a cross-country flight for their first taste of Summer League action.

Legions of Spurs fans travel to Las Vegas to cheer for their favorite franchise every year, and they will have a chance to make some noise in Sacramento as the Silver and Black participate in the California Classic for the first time since its inception in 2018. San Antonio will play in six games between these Summer League events, and you can find specific details like dates, tipoff times, broadcast channels, and ticket information by clicking the highlighted links.

Will Wembanyama play during Summer League?

After weeks of speculation around whether Wembanyama will make an appearance during Summer League, both him and head coach Gregg Popovich confirmed he will suit up to some degree. In fact, the 19-year-old center recently opted out of representing France at the 2023 FIBA World Cup so he can focus on preparing for his rookie season with the Spurs. There is no word on how much Wemby will play or if he will take the court in Sacramento and Las Vegas, so stay tuned for updates.

Who is on the Summer League roster for the Spurs?

The San Antonio Spurs have not unveiled their Summer League roster, but the following list of players will probably make the trip with the good guys.

-Victor Wembanyama
-Sidy Cissoko
-Sir'Jabari Rice
-Charles Bediako
-Erik Stevenson
-Setric Millner Jr.
-Jeremy Sochan
-Malaki Branham
-Blake Wesley
-Dominick Barlow

Julian Champagnie and Charles Bassey also seem like logical candidates to make the roster, and we should get an official announcement from the team soon.
