San Antonio Spurs: Updated roster, depth chart after NBA Draft
By Josh Paredes
The 2021 NBA Draft is officially in the books, and the San Antonio Spurs welcomed two new prospects to the roster. The immediate reaction among NBA media and Spurs fans alike about their 12th pick of Joshua Primo has been confusion and bewilderment, which is completely understandable.
Many felt like this draft was the one in which San Antonio needed to really swing for the fences, gambling on someone that could potentially help right away. Instead, it looks like they drafted for the future by selecting the youngest available talent in the 2021 class. With the 41st pick, the Spurs also added a reliable shooter in Joe Weiskamp.
Although this roster will certainly change after August 2nd when free agency begins, this is how the roster currently stands before what should hopefully be an eventful offseason for the San Antonio Spurs.
