The San Antonio Spurs are at the beginning of a rebuilding process, but there are still plenty of exciting things to look forward to in their historic 50th anniversary season.

Under the guidance of Gregg Popovich, who's entering his 27th season as the team's head coach, the young nucleus headlined by Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell will be fighting for every win they can get in the absence of a bonafide star.

With games in Mexico City and Austin plus a special Alamodome game in January, there are several intriguing matchups ahead for the Silver and Black, who also face a nine-game road trip in February. They might not be expected to win much in the 2022-23 season, but don't expect this team to lay down as they look forward to an immediate future full of helpful draft picks.

The Spurs have made it known they want to focus on expanding their local market this season, and the games in Mexico City and Austin this season should certainly help their cause. In addition, the organization is campaigning hard to fill the Alamodome for January's matchup with the Golden State on January 13th.

The current record for attendance at an NBA game is held by the Atlanta Hawks when they housed 62,046 fans to face the Chicago Bulls in 1998. The dome can host 65,000 fans.
