The field of 16 has been narrowed down to two in the tournament to determine the biggest villain of the San Antonio Spurs ever.

One week ago, we launched a 16-seed tournament to figure out the most despised man according to San Antonio Spurs fans. There were a few unexpected results and some obvious ones, but after numerous Twitter polls, the semifinals have been settled to give us the final two.

Unsurprisingly, three of the four semifinalists were directly involved in the ugly breakup between Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs, with the only exception being a surprise appearance by Kevin Garnett. Before discussing the finalists, let’s break down the results of the semifinal matchups.

Silver Conference Semifinals

Kawhi Leonard (79%) defeats Kevin Garnett (21%)

It would’ve taken a miracle to stop Kawhi Leonard from reaching the finals in this tournament. As a one seed, he took out eighth seed Stephen Jackson easily in the first round with a 70 to 30 percent win. The second round was trickier than expected, and his most challenging round overall, as Leonard narrowly defeated Ray Allen with 54 percent of the vote.

Kevin Garnett, meanwhile, handled Charles Barkley easily in the first round before upsetting Karl Malone with 56 percent of the vote in the second. The Big Ticket ran into a freight train in the semis, however, with Kawhi getting nearly 80 percent of all votes.

Black Conference Semifinals

Uncle Dennis (53%) defeats Zaza Pachulia (47%)

As a two seed, Kawhi Leonard’s uncle had a relatively easy path to the semifinals with wins over Richard Jefferson and Shaquille O’Neal. Zaza Pachulia, meanwhile, dominated the competition, winning with 96 percent of the vote over both Draymond Green and Joey Crawford.

The resulting matchup was the toughest one in the tournament so far. There’s a strong case for both of these men as being the leading cause of the Spurs losing their superstar. In the end, you decided by a narrow margin that Uncle Dennis is a bigger villain than Pachulia, setting up an inevitable final.

Kawhi Leonard vs. Uncle Dennis

More from Air Alamo

It’s a family affair as Kawhi Leonard takes on his uncle and representation Dennis Robertson in the finals. The way this tournament has been slanting, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that the finalists would be related to Leonard, and now comes the big decision.

The question everyone will have to ask themselves is, who’s most to blame for the sour departure of Kawhi? Was he an unfortunate victim of advice that may have been against his best interests? Did Uncle Dennis force Kawhi out of S.A. and put all the blame on them after doing so?

Or was Leonard intent on going back to his hometown all along and used the injury management situation as a way out? Maybe it was a combination of both, and we’ll have to determine who was more to blame?

We’ll find out soon, as the one-day Twitter poll is now live here! So head over to let your vote be counted as we look to finally crown the Spurs’ ultimate villain.
