This upcoming offseason for the San Antonio Spurs might be the most pivotal in the franchise's 50-year history. Not only do they have the most hyped prospect of the decade in Victor Wembanyama, but they are also projected to have $39-47 million in cap space. With the NBA Finals and Draft in the rearview mirror, rumors are already starting to swirl around some of the league's best free agents.

Two of those players, Chris Paul and Fred Vanvleet, have already been linked to San Antonio, and both of them could provide a veteran point guard presence to a young Spurs squad that is blossoming into one of the most exciting units in the association. The only questions that remains are which floor general should the Silver and Black recruit, and will it be worth it?
