The San Antonio Spurs officially have their first NBA All-Star since LaMarcus Aldridge in 2018-19 after Dejounte Murray was selected as an injury replacement by Adam Silver.
Last week, Kevin Durant chose Murray on his squad and is hoping to snap a four-year winning streak for LeBron James. Joining him as a reserve on Team Durant is Murray's close friend and fellow Washingtonian, Zach LaVine, who had been campaigning for Dejounte's selection for weeks.
Murray's team will also feature Joel Embiid, Ja Morant, and Devin Booker.
