The Oklahoma City Thunder are likely looking ahead to the offseason while the San Antonio Spurs try to stay alive in the play-in tournament. On Wednesday, they'll wrap up their season series.

The Spurs have won just two of their seven games in March and allowed an embarrassing 149 points to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, with Karl-Anthony Towns setting the AT&T Center record of 60 points in the process.

Meanwhile, the Thunder are in the midst of a six-game losing streak as they continue their full rebuild behind a young core of their own.

San Antonio has won two of three games against Oklahoma City this season, last defeating them 114-106 exactly one month before Wednesday's matchup. Fresh off of setting a career-high with 34 points on Monday, Keldon Johnson will be one to watch as he scored 22 against OKC last time they met.

San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction

As Shaun Powell of NBA.com put recently, "The [Spurs] are not totally eliminated from the play-in bubble, but they don’t seem terribly motivated to plow their way into it, either. This is a transitional year that saw Pop reach basketball immortality and Dejounte Murray reach stardom."

I can't really disagree with this assessment, and I'm shifting my mindset more toward what should be an eventful offseason. Still, I don't expect the players to have the same attitude as they head into their final 13 games.

Opponent role player to watch: Rookie Tre Mann has had a nice stretch in the wake of so many injuries, averaging 15.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game over the last month.

With the Thunder having a laundry list of injuries and not much to play for, there's no reason the Spurs shouldn't take care of business. Here's hoping they don't make me eat my words.

Spurs 117, Thunder 106
