Having taken turns winning and losing every game since December 7th, the Spurs will have an excellent chance to break that pattern against a struggling Lakers squad that will be shorthanded. Anthony Davis is out of action for an extended period and has lit up San Antonio for 69 points in their two matchups so far.
Meanwhile, LeBron James is expected to play despite going down with an ankle injury against the Phoenix Suns in the Lakers' latest loss on Tuesday.
The Spurs are coming off a surprisingly dominant 116-92 victory over the LA Clippers in which they had six guys in double figures and Dejounte Murray added another triple-double to his collection.
The Lakers have lost three straight and are looking to avoid falling below .500 for the first time since October 27th. They've taken both games against the Spurs so far this season.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Lakers Prediction
On paper given how many Lakers are out for various reasons, the Spurs have no business losing this one with their almost completely healthy status. Two of the biggest reasons San Antonio is 0-2 against the Lakers this season, Malik Monk and Anthony Davis, are both out for the contest, and James may not be 100% even if he does play.
That said, San Antonio has been defying logic all month by beating the likes of Golden State, Utah, and LA while losing to the Knicks and Kings. I have no idea what to expect from this team on a nightly basis, but I'm going to give them an edge based on roster availability alone.
Spurs 114 , Lakers 108
