The San Antonio Spurs will look to win the season series against the fourth-seeded Utah Jazz in their third and final matchup on Friday.

After finally snapping a four-game losing streak to the Jazz in Utah in December, the Spurs dropped the grudge match 10 days later, falling 110-104 in San Antonio. The third game will be the last time these teams face off in the regular season.

San Antonio is coming off a loss in which Dejounte Murray's third-quarter absence due to a head wound proved too big of a hurdle to overcome. Meanwhile, the Jazz pounded the Portland Trail Blazers by 38 on Wednesday.

The Jazz have won five of their last six games against the Spurs.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Jazz Prediction

Where we stand, the Utah Jazz sit with the best offensive rating in the league and are 10th defensively. They're a well-oiled machine under Quin Snyder with talent advantages at nearly every position on a nightly basis.

The Spurs, meanwhile, are desperately seeking some consistency as they still try to keep their play-in tournament hopes alive. Although they're capable of beating any team on any given night, their lackluster shooting and defense in recent weeks doesn't bode well for a matchup against one of the West's best.

Opponent Role Player to Watch: This is an easy one considering one Jazz role player in particular morphs into Kevin Durant when he sees the Spurs. Someone who normally averages 15 points a game, Jordan Clarkson has scored 19.8 points per game over the nine times he's faced San Antonio since joining the Jazz. This includes outbursts of 30, 21, and 23 points in the last three meetings.

They could prove me wrong with improved outside shooting, but I think San Antonio might just have to wait one more day to see Coach Popovich obtain the all-time regular season wins record.

Jazz 115, Spurs 106
