Tim Duncan's on-court game was just one aspect of what made him such a legend for the San Antonio Spurs. Beyond his dominance over just about every team and everyone, Duncan exemplified class and humility every time he stepped on the hardwood.

For most opponents, it was impossible to hate Tim or the Spurs organization for the way they conducted themselves throughout their dynastic run from 1999-2016. With Duncan as the anchor, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili as his sidekicks, and Gregg Popovich as the mastermind, there was rarely a bad word you could say about the Spurs.

The most criticism the Big Three era ever faced was that they were "boring" for the game of basketball. Individually, the worst thing anyone ever had to say about Duncan was that he'd make an exasperated, wide-eyed face whenever whistled for a foul. Big whoop.

As you'll see with this countdown, Duncan had a massive effect on the basketball world, whether it be frustrating opponents or inspiring them to be better. As the Basketball Hall of Fame gets ready to honor The Big Fundamental on May 15th, here are the top 10 things opponents had to say about him, starting with a somewhat polarizing figure.
