Spurs vs Thunder Betting Odds, Prediction, Pick, TV for Feb. 16
By Josh Paredes
The San Antonio Spurs have a chance to head into the NBA All-Star break with a 3-2 road trip record if they defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
Stop me if you'd heard this one before, but San Antonio comes off another loss in which it was anybody's game entering crunch time before they fell apart down the stretch. Despite an encouraging performance from Lonnie Walker, the Spurs' poor outside shooting and inability to stop DeMar DeRozan ultimately led to a 120-109 defeat.
Meanwhile, the Thunder snapped a five-game losing streak by knocking off the freefalling New York Knicks in overtime on Monday. Rookie Josh Giddey had 28 points, 12 assists, and 11 boards in the win.
The teams have split their two games so far this season, with San Antonio dominating the last meeting 118-96 on January 19th.

San Antonio Spurs vs Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction
From Coach Gregg Popovich to Dejounte Murray to Devin Vassell, the Spurs have made it clear they're not on the tank train. "We want to make the playoffs, said Vassell before Monday's matchup. "We aren’t thinking about no lottery. We are thinking about winning the next game."
The Spurs had two blowout wins after their busy trade deadline and held tough with a Bulls team near the top of the Eastern Conference. It's clear they still have plenty to play for while the Thunder are still awaiting the return of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander after the All-Star break.
If San Antonio shoots halfway decently from the outside and plays even remotely inspired defense, they should have enough to pull away in the second half of this one. Against my better judgment given how many times the Spurs have crashed and burned against short-handed opponents, I'm picking them here.
Spurs 117, Thunder 106
Opponent Role Player to Watch: Amid Oklahoma City's injuries, Darius Bazley has stepped up over the last six games, averaging 14.6 points and 8.3 rebounds on 37.5% shooting from beyond the arc. He'll be one to watch after scoring 23 in a Valentine's Day win.
