Spurs vs Grizzlies Bet Odds, Prediction, Pick, TV for Jan. 26
By Josh Paredes
The last time the San Antonio Spurs met the Memphis Grizzlies, they were without their star point guard. This time around, Dejounte Murray and Ja Morant should provide an entertaining battle in round two.
The Spurs have lost two straight and went 2-5 on their homestand to fall to 17-30 on the season. While Murray has been a nightly triple-double threat, inconsistencies from everyone besides him and Jakob Poeltl have been costing the team wins.
Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies are coming off a loss in Dallas and are 1-2 in the current four-game road trip. They're looking to go 2-0 in the season series after Moran't 30-point performance led them to a 118-105 win over San Antonio on New Year's Eve.
Memphis has won three straight games in the head-to-head, four if you include the play-in tournament game last year.
*Note: This game was originally scheduled to be on ESPN as the Spurs' only nationally televised game but was replaced by the Knicks vs Heat.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Grizzlies Prediction
This has all the makings of a classic dogfight. Two hungry point guards with similar skillsets aiming for their first All-Star selection. Two young squads working to build up to bigger and better things on the backs of their young cores.
While the Spurs were missing Dejounte the first time around, this time Memphis will be shorthanded by a few players, including Kyle Anderson and Tyus Jones (health and safety protocols). Brandon Clarke and Desmond Bane, who scored 17 points apiece in their first meeting with the Spurs, were listed as questionable but were cleared to play, according to Grizzlies PR.
Memphis has been one of the best teams in the league when playing shorthanded, and they still have a blossoming superstar in Ja Morant. I'm very conflicted about where I want to go with this prediction, but I think the Grizzlies feel the absences and allow the Spurs to pull away late in the fourth. I'm gonna need Derrick White to show me something though.
