The last time the San Antonio Spurs faced the Golden State Warriors, it got ugly before the game even began. With Steve Kerr's squad on the second night of a back-to-back, he opted to sit Stephen Curry for the contest, joining Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green on the injury list.
As a result, the Spurs were heavily favored and went into the fourth quarter up 104-89. Then the fourth quarter happened. Jordan Poole exploded for 31 points while Damion Lee and Moses Moody both scored more than 20 as the Warriors handed San Antonio one of their most embarrassing losses of the season. While Curry will be sitting out again with his recent foot injury, this will still be a chance for the Spurs to right that wrong.
The Spurs are coming off a humiliating wire-to-wire defeat at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans that saw them shoot 11/44 from three and commit 16 turnovers.
The Warriors head into the game on three full days of rest, last losing to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday, 110-88.
This is the third meeting this season between the Spurs and Warriors, and they've split the series so far.

San Antonio Spurs vs Warriors Prediction
Even without Stephen Curry, I think it's safe to say the Golden State Warriors are a decently better team than the Spurs as it stands right now. The Spurs have had a tendency to play up to competition when you least expect it, though.
Opponent role player to watch: I already mentioned Jordan Poole once for dropping 31 on the Spurs in February, but he also just scored 29 on the team with the highest defensive rating in the league, the Boston Celtics. He'll need to be wrangled much better this time around.
I'm going with the home team in this one, but don't be surprised if the Spurs hang around for much of the game after that poor performance on Friday.
Warriors 113 , Spurs 107
