The much-anticipated NBA City Edition jersey design for the San Antonio Spurs was released on Monday morning on NBA.com. After their fiesta edition jerseys were a hit last season, the design of these jerseys features a similar color scheme of orange, pink, and teal, with white as the primary color.

The new design features "Spurs" in black across the chest and has the jersey number in teal outlined in pink. Along the side are striped trims of the traditional fiesta colors of teal, pink, and orange, which also line the top of the shorts.

Early reactions to the design are mixed, with some thinking they're a bit too busy up top. Reactions from Twitter seem to be in total agreement about one thing, though: The shorts are fire.

The shorts feature a teal diamond shape on the sides that includes the classic Dallas Chaparrals logo, tracing back to the team's formation in the ABA. A patch with the ABA logo is also part of the ensemble.

"Way too noisy," said long-time Spurs fan Eric Salinas on Twitter. "Subtle is always better. Shorts are great, by the way." "City jersey fiesta 2.0 is beautiful," said another fan, Dylan Gonzalez.

The full collection for the NBA will be rolling out throughout the season.
