In less than a month, the San Antonio Spurs will officially have another Hall of Famer. After a stellar 16-year career that included four NBA championships and a gold medal, Manu Ginobili will be enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on September 10th.

On Monday, the Hall announced the presenters who'd be accompanying the 2022 class at the big event. The most notable name on the list was none other than the best Spur of all time and a member of the 2020 class -- Tim Duncan.

The duo shared the court for 14 of Manu's 16 NBA seasons, and they're probably first and second (in either order) when it comes to how beloved they are by Spurs fans. As expected, many couldn't handle the breaking news without shedding a couple of tears.

Spurs fans react to Tim Duncan presenting Manu Ginobili

There are probably dozens of stories Duncan could tell about his time on and off the court with Manu. As local San Antonio host Don Harris pointed out, though, don't expect Tim to actually be speaking at the event.

When Duncan made his Hall of Fame speech in 2020, David Robinson walked him to the stage to be at his side throughout.

We can probably expect September's enshrinement of Manu Ginobili to work the same way, with Tim being by his side as he delivers his talk to the crowd at Symphony Hall in Springfield. While that'll be a letdown for Spurs fans, we at least have some classic stories from past jersey retirements to fall back on.
