Spurs can make noise with one of three free agent summer acquisitions

San Antonio's season is just about over and there will be free agents available this summer to help boost the roster. The Spurs should try to acquire one of these guys.

The Spurs will have some work to do to fill out the roster once the offseason kicks into gear. While there is a chance for action in the weeks following the end of the season, it is likely that the most action won't occur until after the playoffs have concluded. The teams involved in the postseason tournament have players waiting to be dealt too; they just can't talk about that yet, though leaks on potential deals are sure to happen, like Tom Holland on an MCU press tour.

The main focus of observers is the point guard position. Rightfully so, with the phenom Victor Wembanyama looking exactly like everything scouts raved about prior to his arrival but there are more pieces to the puzzle that San Antonio will need to put together to rid the taste of this sour season from the mouths of Silver and Black fans everywhere. Fortunately, there will be free agents available capable of helping to complete such a task.

3. SG-Lonnie Walker IV

The potential return of Lonnie Walker IV to the San Antonio Spurs adds an athletic and explosive player with improved three-point shooting, currently hitting 39.3% from beyond the arc this season. At 25, Walker aligns well with the Spurs' youthful roster, offering room for growth and development. His past playoff performances, including pivotal moments with the Lakers, showcase his ability to shine under pressure.

Walker's familiarity with the Spurs' system and understanding of his role make him a valuable asset, bringing experience and maturity to the team. Overall, his addition would not only bolster the Spurs' depth but also inject renewed energy with a dynamic effect, positioning him as a key contributor to the team's success moving forward.
