Spurs draft haul

  • 4th overall: Stephon Castle, G/W, UConn
  • 8th overall: Nikola Topic, G, KK Crvena zvezda
  • 35th overall: Cam Christie, W, Minnesota
  • 48th overall: Harrison Ingram, F, North Carolina

The Spurs get a massive draft haul to sure up their roster. Stephon Castle likely takes over as the starter on the wing next to Devin Vassell. Nikola Topic will need time to recover but becomes their point guard of the future. Christie and Ingram provide depth and upside off the bench for a young roster looking to make noise.

The Spurs need to improve all four players shooting and defense, but they will have room to maneuver. San Antonio should look to add a second star and build out their roster now because Victor Wembanyama is that good.

The 2024 NBA Draft is crucial for the San Antonio Spurs. They must nail their selections if they hope to become title contenders in short order. It won’t be easy but have faith in the organization. Fans know the Spurs get the job done. Wemby is on pace to be an all-time great, so stay tuned to see how it all shakes out.
