Victor Wembanyama and Team France begin their exhibition matchup slate tomorrow afternoon when they take on Turkey on July 3 at 2:00 PM CT. It will be the first of five games for the French team before the official Olympic Games begin on July 26th.

San Antonio Spurs fans are eager to see Wemby take the floor after missing the playoffs in his Rookie of the Year campaign. That desire has only increased after he's appeared to put on more muscle and has spent time working with Jamal Crawford during the offseason.

Wemby gives fans a taste at what we might see

He didn't wait till Wednesday to showcase some of the stuff he's been working on behind closed doors. Earlier on Tuesday, their practice clips started swirling on X (formerly known as Twitter.)

But it wasn't just his unguardable post fade that started a chatter amongst NBA Twitter. In another clip, Victor hits a step-back three at such a quick pace that it almost seems unfathomable to process because he moved in such a guard-like manner. Then you remember that he's seven-foot-four and should not be moving like that.

To think that this wouldn't have even been his best play of last season is mind-blowing, and it didn't take long for NBA Twitter to start losing their minds about these clips.

We already knew Victor was one of the most capable prospects to ever touch the floor. His rookie season was filled with flashes of potential, from triple-doubles with blocks to 40-point and 20-rebound performances; it's ridiculous to think this was the worst version of Victor we'll see.

Every exhibition matchup France plays will be streamed on the NBA's app, website, and YouTube channel. Tip-off is scheduled for approximately 2 PM CT. The wait is over, Spurs fans. We finally get to see Wemby take action again after a couple of months' hiatus, and it'll only be a sneak peek at what we could be getting to follow up his historic rookie season.
