Keldon Johnson

The only thing keeping Keldon Johnson from receiving an A+ is the occasional lapses on the defensive end. He was the most consistent scorer throughout the entirety of the game. His three-ball was the only thing not along for the ride early, but it met up with him at halftime and helped him ride the momentum to a come-from-behind victory.

Johnson displayed mental toughness with a side of sturdy leadership all night long. He understood his team was going through a rough patch on both sides of the ball and ensured the Spurs stayed within striking distance with his scoring until the rest of the squad caught up. Keldon had a season-high 27 points, but it comes as no surprise as he was the go-to option for San Antonio last season. Fans know his high motor can lead to incredible outbursts.

The 6-foot-5 slasher shot 50% from the floor, adding four assists and three rebounds. Johnson also chipped in two steals, the last of which saw him snatch the ball from Kevin Durant and finish over Josh Okogie to give the Spurs their first lead of the game with 1.2 seconds left on the clock. It was an inspired performance, and San Antonio needed every bit of it from KJ. Take a bow young man.
