The Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs face off on Sunday evening, and the Spurs are coming off a massive win over the Oklahoma City Thunder where Victor Wembanyama may have locked up the Rookie of the Year award.

Now, the real question is, how in the world do we find value on Wemby in the prop market? The rookie sensation is tough to wager on since he fills up the stat sheet and has seen his props skyrocket, but there is one play for him that I love tonight.

Let’s break down the top props in this battle:

Pacers vs. Spurs best NBA prop bets

  • Victor Wembanyama OVER 3.5 blocks
  • Devin Vassell OVER 31.5 points, rebounds and assists

Victor Wembanyama OVER 3.5 blocks

I’m looking at Wemby’s defense in this game, as he’s been incredible protecting the rim as of late, blocking four or more shots in five straight games and six of his last seven contests.

The Spurs big man is averaging an NBA-best 3.3 blocks per game on the season, and now he’s taking on an Indiana team that allows opponents to block 5.6 shots per game – good for 23rd in the NBA.

In his first meeting against the Pacers, Wembanyama had two blocks in just 21 minutes in a 41-point loss. If this game is close, I think he’ll clear this prop.

Devin Vassell OVER 31.5 points, rebounds and assists

Devin Vassell’s PRA prop usually depends pretty heavily on his scoring, but he’s been stuffing the stat sheet as of late, averaging 4.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game in the month of February.

Vassell cleared this prop in seven of his 12 games that month, and he should get plenty of chances to rack up stats against an Indiana team that is No. 2 in the league in pace and No. 26 in defensive rating.

The former lottery pick has also scored 20 or more points in eight of his last 12, so there’s a chance he gets us to this prop on that alone.
