The San Antonio Spurs are on the road as they look to snap their 16-game losing streak against the Houston Rockets.
Since betting on the Spurs to win—or even cover the spread—is a risky proposition, I’m looking to the prop market for my favorite Spurs bets on Monday.
Plus, there is one Rockets player that is worth a pick in this matchup.

Let’s dive into the picks:
Spurs vs. Rockets best NBA prop bets
- Devin Vassell OVER 2.5 3-pointers made
- Victor Wembanyama OVER 12.5 assists and rebounds
- Jabari Smith Jr. OVER 13.5 points
Devin Vassell OVER 2.5 3-pointers made
Devin Vassell has been a little inconsistent as a scorer at times this season, but he’s taking – and making – a bunch of 3s this season.
Vassell is shooting 39.1 percent from beyond the arc, and he’s made three or more 3-pointers in four of his last six games. In nine of his 16 total games this season, Vassell has cleared this number.
A major reason why is the volume. Even though Vassell hit just one shot from deep in his last game, he had nine attempts from 3-point range. He’s taken at least seven shots from 3 in each of his last seven games. That’s a great base for this prop against Houston.
Victor Wembanyama OVER 12.5 assists and rebounds
I love this prop for Victor Wembanyama, who is coming off a 20-rebound game in his last outing.
Wemby has been a solid passer this season (2.6 assists per game), but he’s really upped his production over the last month, averaging 11.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game since Nov. 10.
I expect him to have a strong game against a Rockets team that doesn’t have a ton of size on the roster, especially since Wemby has 13 or more rebounds and assists in six of his last eight contests.
Jabari Smith Jr. OVER 13.5 points
This is a buy-low spot for Jabari Smith Jr., who had cleared 13.5 points in seven straight games before falling short in each of his last three.
The Spurs have one of the worst defenses in the NBA (27th in defensive rating), and Smith Jr. had 13 points on just 5-of-16 shooting against them earlier this season.
I expect him to bounce back from his three-game slump on Monday.
