3 Spurs prospects that must rise to the occasion before the preseason ends

3.) Dominick Barlow
The former Overtime Elite big man finds himself back in San Antonio on another two-way contract. His smooth athleticism and ability to crash the glass adds another facet to the Spurs. Barlow gives it his all and supplies constant hustle plays whenever he steps on the court. Right now might be his best chance to showcase his development, impress the front office brass, and force their hand to extend him a standard deal.

Charles Bassey, Zach Collins, and Sandro Mamukelashvili have soaked up most of the minutes at center this preseason, so Barlow will have his work cut out for him. However, the youngster could receive minutes at the four if he displays increased touch on his jumper. His defensive intensity and infectious energy could help the bench unit if he earns a more substantial role. He has an uphill battle ahead of him, but he is ready to compete.
