3.) The second unit will let it rain from three

Johnson never hesitated to fire away from deep when the coaching staff gave him the green light to shoot last season, and he took 6.5 three-point attempts per game. He only shot 32.9% on those looks, but he could be in line for a resurgence in efficiency in 2023-24, which would be remarkable news for the new-look Spurs.

While the starting five consists of versatile scorers with elite defensive attributes, there are too many mouths to feed to offer Keldon the scoring volume he has grown accustomed to. San Antonio already has a bench full of guys who only need a glimpse of daylight from three, and teaming up with Johnson would give them an absurd supply of flamethrowers.

Spurs fans should salivate at the thought of Johnson sharing the floor with talented sharpshooters like Devonte' Graham, Cedi Osman, Doug McDermott, and Branham. Throwing the 24-year-old forward into the equation would help Coach Pop assemble one of the most dangerous three-point shooting lineups San Antonio has ever seen.

The NBA season is in full swing, and there is still plenty of time for this organization to make changes. But for now, the excitement surrounding San Antonio Spurs basketball is the highest it's been in ages.
