After their strong showings in the NBA playoffs, San Antonio Spurs prospects Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant have garnered plenty of attention. In fact, ESPN just published the 10 "Most interesting sophomore players to watch" next season, and guess who made the cut?

That's right! Both Bryant and Harper appear on the list, with them ranking eighth and first, respectively. Them making the cut only confirms what Spurs fans already knew, but it's still nice to see them get some national hype.

Better still, both players could be in for breakout seasons, especially Harper. Harper turned heads in the NBA Finals with his stellar play, averaging 18 points per game off the bench. That could be a sign of great things to come.

Hopefully, Coach Mitch Johnson will look to play Harper about 30 minutes per game off the bench next season. That would be the best way to maximize his star prospect without compromising the starting lineup's success.

Not to be outdone, Bryant played impressively well during the second half of last season and during the NBA playoffs. He has a chance to be an elite defensive player and a reliable shooter.

So much so that he could even challenge reigning Sixth Man of the Year Keldon Johnson for minutes next season. The Spurs having two of the most intriguing prospects underscores that this team has elite young talent and a high ceiling.

Harper and Bryant are key to the Spurs unlocking their full potential

Just the fact that this team won 62 games and made the NBA Finals last season while still inexperienced suggests that this group has a bright future ahead of them. Despite already having an all-star guard in De'Aaron Fox.

They also have another talented prospect in Stephon Castle, but the seeming consensus is that Harper has a strong chance to be better than both.

That's a scary thought for the rest of the NBA. Particularly with the Spurs potentially being able to hold onto all three guards plus Victor Wembanyama for three seasons.

Wembanyama may be the best player in the NBA by then, while Harper and Castle could both be all-stars. That could set the stage for a new Big 3. Factor in Bryant, who may become a premier three-and-D wing, and both he and Harper could prove ESPN right in their rankings.
