Now, in the new year, the All-Star break is quickly approaching. With that, NBA fans across the country have submitted their ballots and are pushing to get their favorite players in the game. However, the same can't be said for Spurs fans. Shockingly, the Silver and Black faithful haven't been doing their part during the fan vote, and it is evident.
Luka Dončić and Giannis Antetokounmpo remain the leaders in their conferences in the second fan returns in NBA All-Star Voting 2026.

It was a given that Victor Wembanyama would be towards the top of the list; he's the future face of the league. Though in terms of Spurs, it runs dry from there. Still, Stephon Castle has snuck his way onto the list at #20, but that's about it. Did you notice one particular name left off the top 20? Yeah, I did too.
De'Aaron Fox has been egregiously snubbed from All-Star fan voting
Are you trying to tell me De'Aaron Fox hasn't been one of the best 20 players in the Western Conference this year? Ridiculous.
While I am disappointed in NBA fans for struggling to recognize Fox's greatness, I am even more disappointed in San Antonians for failing to show up for their guys.
Meanwhile, other players on this list have played fewer games, haven't been as impactful, or have been putting up empty stats. There is no doubt that the West is far superior to the East in terms of talent, but it isn't so great that De'Aaron Fox should be left off the list.
De'Aaron Fox is playing at an All-Star level
The electric point guard is enduring the most efficient year of his career and has helped lead the often-injured Spurs to the second seed in the Western Conference. His entrance into the All-Star conversation speaks for itself.
Without De'Aaron, the Spurs would not be where they are now. Fox has lifted the offense to heights they never could have imagined. Leading the pack with his trusty playmaking, the veteran guard has been the key cog to the San Antonio engine.
De'Aaron Fox alone has been the reason for several Spurs victories. Whether it is his ice-cold clutch finishes or outright dominance at the point guard position, the former Sacramento King has been getting it done when it matters most.
You could easily argue that this is the best year of his NBA career. While he isn't putting up jaw-dropping numbers because of the talent around him, he is scoring at an unstoppable rate and playing the game the right way. His efficiency as a point guard has led to a resoundingly successful offense that ranks in the top 10 in the league.
Without a doubt, De'Aaron Fox is deserving of being an All-Star. What he has done for this Spurs team is unmistakably amazing and needs recognition. Stop what you are doing and rush to the ballot to cast your vote for the Swipa. I'd better see his name in the top 20 in the next fan-voting return.
