With San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama now back, the team is dangerously close to being at full strength. Actually, they have their full rotation available, meaning we will now see how this team will look.

That's exciting, given how strong they've played even though they have already dealt with plenty of injuries. With Wembanyama back, the Spurs should be even better, but his return comes with questions about how to best use him.

The team's offense has thrived, even without Wembanyama, with De'Aaron Fox leading the charge. With Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle now back, the Spurs have sported a more equal opportunity offense.

If Fox ends up with 30 and Castle ends up with nine, great. If the opposite happens, cool. Or perhaps Devin Vassell will unleash a hail of threes for a 30-piece. The point is, the Spurs have and perhaps should continue to take the same approach with Wembanyama back.

The Spurs' offense shouldn't revolve solely around Wembanyama

San Antonio has relied more on their guard play in recent weeks and should continue to do so even with him back. After all, despite having a 7-4 center, teams have taken to swarming him when he has the ball in the paint.

As a result, the Spurs should look to play outside-in and have Wembanyama be used primarily in the pick and roll and be a threat from outside. Even before his injury, the Spurs were already trending in that direction.

Wembanyama posted up less, took more threes, and still got plenty of easy shots in the paint thanks to the help of Castle, who is the best on the team at throwing lobs.

Taking the ball out of Wembanyama's hands would seemingly be a big risk considering he is by far their best player, but it could be to both his and the team's benefit. He can still average at least 25 points simply by posting up less, taking more threes, scoring from the elbows, and catching lobs.

Victor Wembanyama must be an offensive hub rather than a focal point

His presence also will command plenty of defensive attention, making it easier for the three-headed point guard monster of Fox, Castle, and Harper to get into the paint. This would lead to plenty of easy high-percentage shots at the rim from collapsed defenses, creating open threes for Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie, and Harrison Barnes.

In some ways having a roster this deep and talented is unexpected but reminiscent of the 2014 Spurs. Duncan was still the centerpiece of those teams on both ends, and Wembanyama could be a Super Saiyan Blue version of that.

After all, Wembanyama's skill set is perhaps better suited for being a well-rounded superstar, not for being a top player who averages 30+ points per game. Having a less predictable offense with more equal opportunity for players to score could take an already great offense to the next level. As a result, it could also transform the Spurs, turning them into true contenders.
