Spurs Nation is ready to reap the benefits of all the patience exhibited over the past half-decade-plus of postseason-less basketball. Things are about to change in a major way for the Silver and Black. They're boasting their deepest roster in years, and although it's not perfect, it's more than enough to make noise in a competitive Western Conference.

Some mystery team surprises the NBA, proving to be much better than expected every year. Last season, it was the Pistons. They went from having the worst record in the league just one year prior to making the playoffs outright, earning the sixth seed behind Cade Cunningham's brilliance. It's San Antonio's turn to overachieve now, but it will be much louder than Detroit was.

The Spurs will have a top 10 offense

The only thing that will hold this team back from being a top-five offense is the lack of pure shooters on the roster, but they have everything else. There are two stars to lead the charge; they have young, athletic players, depth, hustle, length, and a veteran presence. This is a well-rounded roster that will get points from different sources on any given night.

Mitch Johnson wants to pick up the pace. The personnel is perfect for that style of play. The increased team tempo and growth from Wembanyama, guided by the steady, yet dynamic hand of De'Aaron Fox, will lead the Spurs to a more prolific offense.

SA land a top-four seed

These bold predictions are all connected. San Antonio showcasing a top-tier offense will get them a top-four seed in the postseason. I think it's easy to predict that they'll be a force on defense. Look at the roster. They have a team full of defenders and the size on the bench to keep an anchor on the floor at all times.

They've been clear about their defensive identity from the very first interview on Media Day. If the Silver and Black put an elite offense and defense on the floor, landing a top seed is easy to see. Vic will be the key to it all, and Spurs fans everywhere should be confident that he can lift an already talented roster to the next level.

Wembanyama wins MVP

As a result of the jump on offense and defense, the Alien won't just win Defensive Player of the Year, but he'll nab the Most Valuable Player of the Year award, too. It'll be difficult to deny him if he takes this team to a top-four seed with a great offense and defense in his third year. The third-year phenom was in the MVP race at the early parts of last season, so he was already getting a taste of that media attention.

It's a realistic prediction to call Wembanyama averaging 28 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, a steal, and four blocks, while shooting 38% from three. He wasn't far from those numbers last year. We've never seen anything like Vic. Unique players do special things, and winning the MVP would make him the youngest to do so. I say he gets it done. What say you?
