With the regular season almost over, the San Antonio Spurs' offseason will soon begin. They have several big decisions to make, including who to draft with their two first-round picks and who to bring back next season.

There could be a roster crunch with the addition of two rookies as well as a dozen players under contract next season. With a need to reshape the roster, here are four Spurs who should be gone no matter what.

It's time for these players to leave San Antonio

Bismack Biyombo

Despite playing surprisingly well considering that he had been out for more than a year, center Bismack Biyombo shouldn't return next season. Biyombo would be a solid depth piece at center, but the Spurs should be looking at more long-term options at what all fans recognize as a weak position.

Instead, they should use one of their two first-round picks to select a big man and use some or all of their mid-level exceptions to help fill the position as well. Adding a center who can help on both ends of the floor while a younger prospect develops behind them would be best for the Spurs. After all, it would help them bolster a position of need while still building towards the future.

Charles Bassey

While Charles Bassey is still just 24 years old, he, too, should be gone. He has failed to stay healthy in his three seasons in San Antonio, and when he was healthy this season, he showed flashes, but not enough to solidify his position as the backup center.

Even playing reasonably well could have allowed him to earn the backup spot, but he played inconsistently at best. San Antonio will be better suited to look elsewhere.

Chris Paul

Despite a strong season for Chris Paul, it's looking unlikely that he will return next season. He doesn't appear likely to retire, but even if he comes back for his 21st season, he may want to start.

Obviously, with De'Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle, that shouldn't happen, though Paul would be terrific as a backup. If Paul is unwilling to accept that role, then the Spurs shouldn't look to bring him back and instead go with Blake Wesley.

Malaki Branham

Malaki Branham still has a few games left to try and earn a role next season, but it's increasingly likely that he won't be back. The Spurs can afford to keep him around since he is still on a rookie-scale contract, but he hasn't shown enough to warrant that. He would also be taking up a roster spot that could be better served by someone who can produce.

San Antonio can simply waive him to open up a roster spot, allowing them to use their full mid-level exception to sign one or two players. With several holes to fill, the Spurs shouldn't bring back Biyombo, Bassey, and Branham and should look to the draft and free agency to replace them.
