For those unfamiliar with the NBA 2K Series, NBA 2K17 is a basketball simulation game which, like the previous games in the series, strives to realistically depict the experience of the NBA, as well as present improvements over the previous installments.
There are several game modes available for the player and many settings can be customized. The game contains many presentation qualities that are modeled on real-life presentation, such as crowd animations, commentary, pre-game, halftime, and post-game shows, camera angles, lighting, and player animations.
This years title should be as successful as its previous. NBA 2K took to twitter days earlier in the week to let fans know, player ratings would be released upon those players that ask for them. I took to twitter myself to try to persuade some of our Spurs players to do so.

Though I forgot to tweet Dewayne Dedmon, he joined the party sending a tweet to 2K asking for his rating. He later sent this tweet out on Wedensday receiving his rating from 2K.

Not a bad rating for the newest Spur. Ratings in video games have come to be one of the most intriguing to players. There have been a handful of NBA players that have requested their ratings in the game and have received them. Unlike NFL players, the handful that did receive ratings seemed pretty pleased with what they got.
The date for NBA 2K17 is scheduled for a September 20 release. 2K will also be bringing back the Early Tip-Off Weekend, letting fans who pre-order play the game four days early on September 16.
