Part three of the head-to-head matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors is at the door. The game played on March 9th was a pleasant surprise for fans who enjoyed a Silver and Black victory without the services of Victor Wembanyama, Devin Vassell, or Cedi Osman. All three were injured and with the next game on the horizon, the question of who will be in the lineup this time is at the forefront of many minds.

Seeing Wembanyama's name omitted from the injury report is great news for Spurs fans. With less than 20 games left in the season, there is only so much time to marvel and enjoy the generational talent now donning the San Antonio uniform. Unfortunately, Osman won't be along for the ride, and Vassell's status is still up in the air, but 210's finest won't be the only team without key components.

San Antonio is poised for another victory

The first two games against the Warriors were on the road. Now it's time to welcome them to the Frost Bank Center, where the Spurs have a 109.2 offensive rating as compared to their 108 rating away from San Antonio. With the Alien, Victor Wembanyama, back on the court to help protect the paint, the team should pull out another victory without Steph Curry to contend with.

As the guys just illustrated, you are not destined to lose without the help of your star player, but the odds are certainly in their favor. The disappointing season should be enough motivation to bring their best effort every night until the season concludes. Guys are playing for pride and future opportunities at this point, so expect the team to come out motivated.
