3.) Double Rip (ATO)

Whether they realize it or not, Spurs fans have seen this set several times over the years. San Antonio has run "Double Rip" for Tim Duncan, Kawhi Leonard, and LaMarcus Aldridge, and it only felt right that the coaching staff returned to their roots to usher Wembanyama into his role as the go-to scorer with the game on the line.

There are multiple options out of this look, but this example is the play in its most basic form. Keldon and Vassell set cross screens for Wembanyama inside the paint as he loops underneath the hoop to establish himself on the opposite block. Those screens fail to yield a switch or mismatch as Williams sticks to Victor. But they create enough separation for the rookie forward to catch an entry pass with favorable post positioning and face up for an efficient baseline jumper.
