The Warriors would have to pay significantly more in luxury tax penalties if they keep him on their roster. The most likely move is to make CP3 a free agent or trade him to a team eager for his services.

Paul would certainly get Victor Wembanyama open looks and make his life easier. The veteran point guard is a leader with an elite basketball IQ.
