1. Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Greek Freak pushed the Bucks to improve before the start of the 2023-24 season. Their front office fired their head coach and traded for Damian Lillard. When Milwaukee struggled, they sent the new coach packing and brought in Doc Rivers. The Bucks are all-in on building a contender around Giannis, but what if it fails?

Lillard, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez are all north of 32. Milwaukee may not have enough to win now, and those players have already reached their peak. If Antetokounmpo asks out, there will be a massive bidding war for his services. Expect the Spurs to be in the mix.

Teams would struggle to score against a Giannis and Wemby frontcourt. Both are unique defenders with incredible length and versatility. The Spurs would need a point guard and wing depth to round out their contending roster but should have zero issues convincing talent to come to San Antonio to play with their star duo.

The San Antonio Spurs would love to add a second marquee talent but must wait for one to become available. Stars will become disgruntled this offseason and beyond. How will the Spurs capitalize? Stay tuned to find out, but expect talent to be eager to team up with Victor Wembanyama.
