Center: Tiago Splitter

PATFO snagged Tiago Splitter with the 28th overall pick of the 2007 NBA Draft, and the former fan favorite rounds out our starting lineup of all-time draft steals from the Spurs. Splitter was a perfect fit in San Antonio during his five-year stay with the franchise, functioning as a selfless role player who was happy to do anything Gregg Popovich asked of him on the court.

Splitter was a classic draft-and-stash selection, spending three seasons honing his skills overseas before joining the Silver and Black as a 25-year-old rookie. He began his journey as a reserve, earned starter status as a partner in crime for an aging Tim Duncan, and served as a crucial cog for the 2014 team that added another Larry O'Brien Trophy to their collection.

The Brazilian center just so happened to play with the other four members of our all-time countdown in 2015 before San Antonio traded him to the Hawks the following summer. Although an unfortunate series of injuries derailed his career, Splitter will always hold a special place in the hearts of Spurs fans for being a tremendous teammate on and off the hardwood.
