2. Bojan Bogdanovic

Bogdanovic figures to be one of the hottest names on the trade market heading into the deadline unless the Pistons leap into the playoff mix. Detroit is one of the youngest teams in the league, and the 34-year-old wing has just $2 million guaranteed of his $19 million salary in 2024-25. He could be looking to join a contender and for a bit more security heading into next season.

He does not fit the Spurs timeline, but Bogdanovic is a career 39.4 percent 3-point shooter that has hit over 40 percent in four of the last six years. With the ability to score 20 points per game, handle the ball, make plays, and score efficiently, Bogey helps any team. His defense often gets underrated, but the 6’7 wing can guard multiple positions, including elite scorers with size like LeBron James and Luka Doncic.

If Victor Wembanyama instantly proves to be a star, the San Antonio Spurs could quickly vault into contention. Do not expect to see them in the playoffs in 2024, but 2025 should be the goal.

That will mean improving the roster quickly, and Bojan Bogdanovic is under contract at a reasonable number for two years. He could instantly be an impactful wing next to Keldon Johnson, Devin Vassell, and Jeremy Sochan as the veteran helps all three young talents develop.
