8. Tim Duncan magically fixes Manu's bald spot

The 2013 NBA Finals were a great time for Spurs fans up until about 28 seconds remaining in Game 6. The rest, we don't need to bother getting into. But while the end result ended up being painful for San Antonio, we at least got one classic funny moment out of the incredible series.

With the series tied 2-2, the Spurs were looking to gain the advantage at home in Game 5, and a surge in the late third quarter and start of the fourth helped them do just that. After a jumper from Manu, San Antonio established an 89-75 lead that they wouldn't surrender.

In all the excitement, Tim Duncan decided to give his long-time teammate some props by patting him right on his bald spot. Of course, NBA Twitter was quick to enhance the moment a little bit.

If only it was that easy.

7. Manu tells the story of Tim Duncan refusing to leave him alone

It was a special night when Tim Duncan's jersey officially went into the rafters at the AT&T Center. He'd given the city five NBA titles across three different decades and endless memories for life. When it was time for those closest to him to honor him, there were some great stories to be told.

Manu Ginobili was always the most competitive guy on the floor, but a story he relayed to the packed crowd showed that Duncan wasn't going to let that stop him from being a great teammate.

After he felt responsible for a playoff loss to the Sacramento Kings, he talked about how torn up he was. "I was devastated," said Manu. "I was truly embarrassed and it really hurt me. I wanted to dig a hole in the floor and just hide there forever."

Manu then disappeared to his hotel room and tried to avoid any kind of contact with anyone.

"The hotel room started to ring. I ignored it," said Manu. "It started to ring again, so I pick it up and hang it. Third time, I hang it again. Fourth time, I unplug it. I said 'come find me now.' Then, there was another one in the bathroom. By the fifth time I pick it up, I say 'What?!' He goes, 'Nanuuu. Come with me.' He started insisting and insisting, and you don't say no to TD."

Eventually, they went to dinner, Tim cheered Manu up, and he ended up having a better night than expected.

6. Manu calls a technical foul on NBA official Leroy Richardson

The Spurs were known for being one of the most mild-mannered teams in all of sports during their two decades of dominance. In fact, Shaquille O'Neal even pointed out once that they were the only drama-free dynasty he's ever seen.

Ginobili was always one of the nicest players in the NBA, and even though he had a reputation for selling contact, I'm willing to bet he was a favorite of the officials. Manu had an impressive streak of over six years from 2011 to 2017 without being issued a technical free throw.

In fact, he technically had one in the bank after calling a T on referee Leroy Richardson for tossing him the ball when he wasn't ready.

Still, the most hilarious moment Manu ever had relating to technicals was the time he drew two of them from the New Orleans Pelicans in 23 seconds.
