#1: Victor Wembanyama

Although it's not official just yet, the Spurs will soon select Wembanyama first in the 2023 draft. Given his unbelievable size, skill, versatility, and age, he is generally considered to be the greatest draft prospect ever and could be an immediate star.

Factor in that he will be making only around $10 million a season for the next four seasons, and he could quickly become one of the best-value contracts in the NBA. The Spurs, of course, hope to have Wembanyama for the entirety of his career, but as far as trade value is concerned, it is already high and only likely to rise.

With Wembanyama, the Spurs could quickly return to title contention in the next couple of seasons if everything goes right. In that case, playing on a good team could raise the value of the aforementioned players, such as Johnson and Vassell, who are the big winners of the Spurs drafting a future superstar. They can excel in smaller roles, possibly increasing their value and further elevating Wembanyama's.

The Spurs have plenty of great assets that will help them achieve their ultimate goal of competing for a championship, especially Wembanyama, who appears to be the next legend in a line of great Spurs players.
