4.) Devin Vassell is the perfect side kick for Wembanyama

The former Florida State standout has given Wembanyama a run for his money for the best player on the team. He has averaged 19.4 points per game on 53.7% shooting from the field. There are few shots this young stud cannot hit. He is an assassin from the midrange with the range to shoot 40% from beyond the arc and the vision to offer secondary playmaking. He has shades of Khris Middleton in his game, and he could be the perfect sidekick for Victor.

Unfortunately, Devin could be out for a while with left groin tightness, but he has already shown he is more than worth his new contract extension. The 23-year-old is a reliable marksman and provides this group with a veteran presence that belies his age. With his steady hand, the Spurs can give him the basketball and let him go to work. It looks like San Antonio already has a dynamic duo.
