Should play less: Cedi Osman

One of the Spurs' offseason additions from last summer, Cedi Osman came to San Antonio without much expectations placed on him. Throughout much of the early part of the season, he thrived as a three-and-D wing who was able to knock down catch-and-shoot looks with relative consistency.

But since his early success, his playing time has gradually dwindled. The truth is that Cedi has been a nice temporary piece for a team that wants to stay competitive, but he is not someone who will legitimately help them in the long-term. As a result, he would do best to begin taking an even bigger backseat as the season draws to a close. Players who are more likely to be part of the Spurs' future will need the additional reps.

Needs more minutes: Tre Jones

There have been a lot of opinions shared surrounding Tre Jones and his importance in San Antonio this season. Many have criticized his game, specifically his lacking jump shot and sometimes spotty defense. It has led many to believe that he should be playing less as the season goes on.

But in reality, Tre still carries an importance to this Spurs team with the roster constructed the way it is. He is one of the team's only reliable ball handlers that can be consistently relied upon to make plays. He may not be a significant ceiling raiser, but his capability as a true floor general will remain key in helping Wemby thrive.
