2. Future Picks

While Spurs fan probably expect this franchise to produce results as soon as next season, let's not forget that they are still in the beginning stages of their rebuild. Thankfully, General Manager Brian Wright has made several savvy moves over the last couple of seasons to add lots of draft capital to their war chest, and those picks could be invaluable down the line.

San Antonio had the 1st, 33rd, and 44th picks in the 2023 NBA Draft, and they will have three first-rounders and a trio of second-round selections next year. As if that wasn't enough, the good guys also have three first and second-round picks in 2025, plus an additional first-round pick and three second-rounders in 2026 (thanks Dejounte).

The front office could use the picks to add more young prospects to their talented young core or package them together to chase after a disgruntled superstar on the trade market. No matter the route they choose, the Spurs are in a great position to have several promising options over the next couple of years.
