1. KJ Martin

One name the Spurs should be pursuing this summer is KJ Martin. Entering his fourth go-round in the NBA, Martin emerged as a capable defender. He started 49 games for the Houston Rockets this past season, averaging a career-high 12.7 points and 5.5 rebounds

On offense, his athletic talent shines in his off-ball ability and rim-rocking dunks. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and has become a talented shot-blocker. He is the kind of Swiss Army Knife the Spurs should covet in a defender.

Martin enters the final year of his rookie contract in 2023-24. He could be a solid option for the Spurs to pick up and see how he fits into their schemes. San Antonio could eventually trade him if they find out he isn't a long-term fit for their roster.
