4. Max Strus - Miami Heat

Max Strus is not the most athletic player in the league, but he could be a valuable asset off the bench for San Antonio. He gives admirable effort on the defensive end and has a lightning-quick release on this three-point stroke that could help a Spurs team that struggled from beyond the arc last season.

Though Strus can disappear from time to time, like in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, where he missed all nine of his shot attempts, he can get hot in a hurry and shift the momentum of a game. The 27-year-old guard hit four triples in the first quarter of Game 2, ending the night with 14 points and six assists.

Popovich could coach this sharpshooting specialist to improve on both ends of the court, and Strus could develop into a productive role player if he becomes more consistent. The Spurs have the salary cap space to make things work financially, but is San Antonio a destination that could lure him away from South Beach?
