3.) Cleveland Cavaliers
Cleveland is in the middle of challenging circumstances heading into this season. There have been constant rumors about Donovan Mitchell declining his player option and leaving the franchise in 2025, which could pressure their front office to make a move to keep their superstar content and avoid watching him walk for nothing. And this is where the Spurs come to the negotiating table to offer a king's ransom that shakes up both rosters.
San Antonio would send Keldon Johnson, Blake Wesley, Reggie Bullock, and a bevy of draft capital to the Cavaliers for Darius Garland. The Spurs have 12 first-rounders over the next seven years, so they can afford to spare a couple of picks to secure an All-Star. The Silver and Black create a big three of Devin Vassell, Victo Wembanyama, and Gardland, but this risky proposal could be worth it if it sends them into playoff contention.
