4 future free agents the Spurs should monitor at the FIBA World Cup
2.) Brandon Ingram
Despite being an NBA All-Star and skilled three-level scorer, Brandon Ingram has been somewhat of a disappointment for the United States at the FIBA World Cup. The 26-year-old has played a limited role for Head Coach Steve Kerr, and he has struggled to make meaningful contributions on either end. But with the final games of this event on the horizon, the youngster still has a shot to come up with some last-minute some heroics for the Red, White, and Blue.
Ingram won the Most Improved Player of the Year Award in 2020 after the Los Angeles Lakers moved him to the New Orleans Pelicans in a blockbuster trade for Anthony Davis, and he has continued that upward trajectory. The eighth-year small forward is still working toward proving he is a championship-caliber player. The Silver and Black are a team that should monitor his progress, and they might have the cap space to pursue him in free agency during the 2025 offseason.
