Putting the Dom in Dominance
Dominick Barlow. What can be said besides he achieved utter dominance in an impressive showing against the Hornets? The second-year player out of Overtime Elite notched a 24-point, 11-rebound double-double to kick off his Summer League on the right foot, and he did so on outstanding 10-of-13 shooting while blocking two shots. He simply did it all for San Antonio.

Outside of dunks, Barlow showed off a newly polished midrange game. He let it fly off pick-and-pops, punishing defenders who gave the 6-foot-11 big man an inch of breathing room.
Dominick Barlow pulling out the mid-range game wasn't something I was expecting tonight. He took six shots outside the paint and drained them all.

Amazing stuff from the 20-year-old to start off the Summer League. pic.twitter.com/GjnzLqLiEB
From start to finish, it was an amazing night for Barlow. He has yet to sign with San Antonio after they made him a restricted free agent, and while many fans see him receiving another two-way contract, sustained Summer League success might lock him into a full-time deal. Only more exhibition action will tell whether he earns that vote of confidence from the front office.
The San Antonio Spurs return to action in Sacramento on Wednesday as they face the Los Angeles Lakers at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN.
